The Organisation of Southern Cooperation (OSC) Congress of Greater South’s African Regional Consultation
The Organisation of Southern Cooperation (OSC) held its first ConGreS (Congress of the Greater South) Regional Consultation in Nairobi, Kenya, on 15-16 May 2024, focused on the theme “Defining the Third Way of Development.” The two-day event was co-chaired by the Network of African Science Academies (NASAC) and the All African Student Union (AASU), and formed part of a series of consultations by the OSC aimed at addressing the unique development challenges and opportunities within the Global South. The consultations featured diverse stakeholders including the civil society, indigenous knowledge actors, scientists, writers, and activists.
