Pr. Rajaâ Cherkaoui El Moursli is a full-time Professor of Physics at the Faculty of Sciences, Mohammed V University in Rabat and a member of the Hassan II Academy of Science and Technology, Morocco. She worked as a head of the Laboratory for Nuclear Physics (1996-2017). She was Vice-President for Research, Innovation, Cooperation and Partnership of Mohammed V University (2013 – 2017). She received the L’Oreal-UNESCO award for “Women in Science” as a Laureate representing Africa and the Arab States (2015). She has been honored for her contribution and noteworthy achievements in science and technology fields in the Islamic world by the Organization of Islamic Cooperation’s (OIC) (2017).
She has been appointed a Board Member of the Moroccan Agency for Nuclear and Radiological Safety and Security, and of the National Center for Nuclear Energy, Science and Technology (Morocco).
She is a Member of the African Academy of Sciences and The World Academy of Sciences for the advancement of science in Developing countries.
