NASAC, with funding support from the Inter Academy Panel (IAP) is running a project to publish a book on Inspiring Stories of African Women Scientists. The publication will feature stories that will speak to the African continent and which will profile African women stories. NASAC’s objective is to develop a publication in a story telling and non-science manner whose aim is to inspire younger girls to pursue careers in science and to help build the gender capacity within academies.
Please nominate women scientists that would feature in this publication and provide us with a two page CV of the nominee that includes three to five most important or significant contributions to science and/or awards received. We also request that the nominee fills the attached form and sends it back with the CV.
