Annual Meeting of African Science Academies

AMASA

The Annual Meeting of African Science Academies (AMASA) is an annual event that brings together stakeholders to discuss and address challenges and opportunities in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) education and research across Africa. Co-hosted by NASAC and partner organizations, AMASA focuses on strengthening capacity for sustainable agriculture and food systems, promoting gender equality in STEM education, and exploring critical issues like gene editing and climate change. The event welcomes participation from NASAC member academies, researchers, policymakers, and other relevant stakeholders, fostering collaboration and knowledge sharing to drive progress in science and its applications for Africa’s development.
